Capitol Saloon Reborn as an Arts Center

Snow flurries did nothing to dampen the excitement of a cadre of volunteers who showed up on Saturday, November 5th for the first day of demolition and clean-up. This dedicated and enthusiastic group began the journey that will help Plumas Arts transform the historic saloon into the new Capitol Arts Center.

Volunteers Included: Dude and Penny Berry, Wayne Cartwright, Lori Davis, Jeff Glover, Keith Linford, Bob Mackel, Tommy Miles, Tom Neill, Brian Plocki, Kara Rockett, Mark Serumgard, Scott and Suzanne Stirling, Trish Taylor and Johnny Walker

A generous donation by Subway provided lunch for this group of hungry hard working folk.

The work has just begun there will be more days of cleaning, wall preparation and painting.
